2. Hosting and server data
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you access the website, technically necessary connection data are processed, including your IP address, access time, requested page or file, and information about your browser, operating system and referring page. Processing serves website delivery, troubleshooting and security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is operating a secure and reliable website.
For its web hosting service, IONOS states that visitor data, including IP addresses, are anonymised when collected and retained for eight weeks.
3. IONOS WebAnalytics
This website uses IONOS WebAnalytics to evaluate website visits statistically and to optimise the website technically. The data collected include pages and files accessed, referring pages, access time, and information about the browser, operating system and device type. According to IONOS, IP addresses are anonymised immediately after transmission; WebAnalytics does not use cookies.
Insofar as personal data are processed, this serves our legitimate interest in monitoring functionality and improving the website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Contact form and email
When you contact us, we process your name, email address, message and the communication data needed for correspondence. Name, email address and message are required fields in the contact form. We use these data to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries), or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries.
Form messages are delivered by email. Additional storage of form submissions in the WordPress database is not enabled. Technical email delivery errors are logged for troubleshooting; a retention period of one month is configured for these logs. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (reliable and secure email delivery).
Providing your information is voluntary and is not required by law or contract. Without the information needed to handle your enquiry, we may be unable to respond.
5. Recipients and retention
We use technical service providers for hosting, website operation and email communication, in particular IONOS SE. They receive personal data insofar as necessary to provide their services.
Contact enquiries are retained for the time needed to handle the matter and any necessary follow-up correspondence. Once this purpose no longer applies, the data are deleted unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate grounds for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims require continued retention. Statutory retention obligations are fulfilled under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
6. Cookies and external links
WordPress uses cookies in the login and administration areas to secure access and remember display settings. The purpose is secure and usable website administration; the legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The login-page test cookie lasts until the browser is closed. Login cookies normally remain for two days, or two weeks if “Remember me” is selected, and are removed on logout. Display-preference cookies may remain for one year. Editing or publishing a post may set a cookie containing its ID for one day.
Where technically necessary information is stored on or accessed from your device, this takes place within the scope of Section 25(2) of the German TDDDG. Other activities requiring consent need prior consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG.
Instagram is included as an ordinary link. Following that link takes you away from our website. The relevant provider is responsible for data processing on its website.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Articles 15–20 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Right to object: Under Article 21 GDPR, you may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise your rights, contact contact@joachimwagner.art.
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR, in particular the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate, www.datenschutz.rlp.de.
No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR, takes place in connection with this website.
